I welcome people from all cultures and experiences, ages, genders and sexuality, immigrants, refugees and members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. As a BIPOC woman raised in Brazil, and a settler in Canada for over 20 years, and a trained psychotherapist, I bring to my practice and life a multicultural, compassionate lens, exploring with curiosity the influence of intersectionality in my clients’ lives. I am an avid student, always educating myself and advocating for marginalized communities.
My approach as a trauma psychotherapist is multi-layered, drawing from a range of modalities, including but not limited to: Compassionate Inquiry (CI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness practices. I am also trained in psychedelics-assisted psychotherapy. This broad range of skills allows me to design the most individualized approach for each client’s unique needs.
I have a particular interest in trauma, anxiety, addictions, depression, eating disorders, grief, and psychedelic integration.
