As a BIPOC woman who was raised in Brazil and has lived in Canada as a settler for more than 20 years, I bring both personal and professional experience to my work.
My approach to trauma therapy is flexible and collaborative. I draw from several modalities and am trained in Compassionate Inquiry®, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Experiencing®, and mindfulness practices. I am also trained in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I take the time to understand what feels right for you. Together, we can shape the therapeutic process around your needs, goals, pace, and preferences.
I have a particular interest in supporting people who are navigating trauma, anxiety, addiction, depression, eating disorders, grief, and psychedelic preparation and integration.
